Sir,

 

Herewith You receive the peticons and Certificates of Severall persons Claiming the rewards given by his Mats. proclamacon dated the 5th of Sept. 1718 [1717?] for Taking pyrates all which the Lords Commrs. of his Mats. Treasy. are pleased to direct You to examine & Certifie the pretences of the Claimants to the said Rewards and for how many of the said pyrates the same ought to be paid according to the said proclamacon as also how and in what manner the Moneys due ought to be divided amongst the Claimants and to Report the Same with Your Opinion thereupon to their Lordps. with all convenient Speed. I am &c. 10 Feb 1719
