I recd Yor Letter and Am Very Sorry it lies Not In My power To Answer Yo.r Desire for No Man Would be Readier To Serve Capt Frances Hume Then My Selfe for We have Noe Preson [Prison] Nor Any Where To Secure the Pirats in Soe Dare Not Medle w.th them, and believe it More Advisable for You To Carry Them To Antigua Where there is Proper Accomadations for Them and his Excelency on the Spot Except Yo:r Patience will oblidge You To Wait Till Thursday [June 29 = Sunday] at w.ch Time ye Councill & Assembly of this Island is To Meet me at the Town of Baslade Where I shall Take their # oppinions in What I may or Can Does in the affaire Relating To the Pirates in the Mean Time             I am
