This Comes to Acquaint you for there Lordships information that on the 31st: May I parted with the Capes of Virginia haveing thirtie five Sail under my Convoy, there was Nothing material happened in my passage On the third Instant Att five in the Morning, I saw the Lizard bearing NE6? Seven Leagues Att the same time I saw Vice Admiral [James] Mighells when I spoke with the fleet under my Convoy keeping on there Way the greatest part are got in before me, there joyn'd me four East India Ships that are come in; In some of my former letters from Virginia I gave you An Account of my haveing secured a parcell of Sugars Slaves &c: belonging To the Pirates in North Carolina, I shall Very soon give you an Account of the Sail of goods, for there Lordships Information As likewise of the behaviour of One Tobias Knight a Collector in North Carolina and Richd: Fitz:Williams Collector of the Lower district of James River In Virginia; in relation To the Pirates; I am to Acquaint you the Lime has Not been cleand since She left England, I am Sr: Your Most Obedient humble Sert Ells: Brand
